I am a newbie to eCommerce, but I know a little bit. We are trying to do market research for a product to sell online and offline. How does one go about researching spending data? Is this a service an SEO consultant could provide?

Sort your keywords by average CPC. The higher the CPC, the more likely it is that it converts into sales.
