Make sure you disable all unnecessary fancy plugins. I disable even social shares.

I am not going to explain you step by step; you can search on Google, tons of people already did.

What plugins you require.
Code:
https://wordpress.org/plugins/async-javascript/
https://wordpress.org/plugins/autoptimize/
https://wordpress.org/plugins/w3-total-cache/
https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-optimize/
Cloudflare
If your theme doesn`t have a lazy load, make sure you install any plugin for this.
If you already don`t optimize your images, install any plugin for this as well.

To make it run smoothly, of course, you need a proper hosting. I recommend Siteground best newbie friendly and most powerful support live chat I`ve ever seen. Or, at least buy hosting with Nginx on.

The best W3 TOTAL CACHE settings and import you can find it here
Or, download the settings and import, after that disable the CDN features.

Cloudflare
Make sure you activate > Speed > Rocket Loader

Test your website if it`s working and you break it after finish every step, in some cases, you can mess it up.

After all finish start testing via
https://gtmetrix.com/
https://tools.pingdom.com/
https://web.dev/measure

You don`t need to follow all this religiously, but remember, all great things on this planet are simple.
You can have the most fancy website, with best HQ graphics,if it`s loading in 8 seconds, both sides loose.

Have you tried WP Rocket already? It's a great plugin to optimize WordPress.
I try it in the past.

I already have 3 stages optimizer from my hosting provider already but I prefer W3, I`m loyal to this old friend as we know each other very well.

Thank you for your Information i will implement this on my newly created website

Shared Litespeed hosting ($50 per year) + Generatepress theme + LScache plugin + Reduce HTTP Requests, Disable Emojis & Disable Embeds, Speedup WooCommerce plugin + Tinyjpg plugin.

Could get to 100/100 by using CDN and disabling Google fonts. But that's unnecessary.

Async javascript breaks rev slider.

Nice guide. Autoptimize plugin is good - the Google AdWords speed optimisation team recommended that when they were helping to optimise performance on one of my sites.

Personally I like wp rocket though. I’ve had better results with that plugin than any other.

Wp rockets is pretty nice since it packs every single option needed although some options fuck up ecommerce sites at least. I have found the best results mixing wp rocket with autoptimize.

Short pixel is crazy aswell totally worth it paying 5$ for the lossy compression, has reduced some already manually optimized images from 150kb to 30/60kb.
