Learning how to choose the proper proxy based on your needs is crucial for your money-making journey. It can save you time, money, and a lot of work.
To choose a type of proxy, first, you need to know about different types of proxy classification such as IPv4 and IPv6, residential and data center proxies, static and rotating proxies, along with their characteristics to determine if they are suitable for your needs.
To check whether your proxy is using IPv4 or IPv6, you can quickly check by looking at the IP range on IPFighter:

The IP pool of IPv6 is vast, but it is not yet supported by many websites. I have encountered cases where I could access Amazon with an IPv6 proxy but not eBay or Etsy.
Google and Facebook also support IPv6, but when I tested it, logging into Facebook accounts on a browser with an IPv6 proxy was easy to die and get a checkpoint, so I switched back to using IPv4.
Next are rotating and static proxies
You may familiar with this classification.
When using a rotating proxy, if the IP address you are using is no longer working, it will automatically switch to a new one. Using a static proxy will be less flexible.
Finally, there are two other popular types of proxies: data center proxies and residential proxies.
Data center proxies are proxies with servers located in data centers.
Data center proxies are available at an affordable price, with fast and stable connection speeds. However, their significant limitation is that their IP addresses are easily detected and blocked by major websites.
If you use this type of proxy for registration and account management, your account will not be trusted and is likely to be suspended. If you use shared proxies, the access speed is relatively fast, but it quickly degrades due to high usage.
Unlike datacenter proxies, residential proxies are available in many areas. Residential proxies allow you to browse the web and access content as a normal resident in that area.
If you use rotating residential proxies, they are suitable for account registration, but not for account maintenance because the IP address changes frequently. If you want to use proxies for account maintenance, it's better to use static residential proxies.
In summary, I have conducted several tests and have found that using IPv4, rotating residential proxies, and static residential proxies are effective in registering Facebook and Gmail accounts, as well as a large number of eBay accounts. After registration, I will switch to using static proxies while still utilizing residential proxies and IPv4.
Using clean IP addresses will increase your chances of successfully creating bulk accounts. However, it's important to note that there are other factors that play a role in ensuring the stability of your accounts. You'll have to test and find a way for yourself.

To choose a type of proxy, first, you need to know about different types of proxy classification such as IPv4 and IPv6, residential and data center proxies, static and rotating proxies, along with their characteristics to determine if they are suitable for your needs.
- IPv4 is widely used and supported by all websites, but the number of available IPv4 addresses is running out. IPv6 is the next generation of IPv4.
- IPv4 is scarce in numbers, and one IPv4 can generate multiple IPv6, so IPv4 is likely to be more expensive than IPv6.
To check whether your proxy is using IPv4 or IPv6, you can quickly check by looking at the IP range on IPFighter:

- IPv4 addresses are displayed in decimal format, separated by periods. 12.444.233.111
- IPv6 addresses are displayed in hexadecimal format, separated by colons 2001:0bd2:0000:0000:0000:ff00:0045:3453
Therefore, whether to use IPv4 or IPv6 depends on the platform and whether the website you are using supports it. Additionally, during the registration process, you should consider whether IPv6 is stable enough to use. If it is stable, continue using it because it saves costs. If not, invest in IPv4 for peace of mind.
Next are rotating and static proxies
You may familiar with this classification.
- Rotating or dynamic proxies are proxies that can automatically change IP addresses over time or each session.
- Static proxies, on the other hand, are proxies with fixed IP addresses. You will always access the website with only one IP address. Rotating proxies allow you to access multiple IP addresses in an IP pool.
When using a rotating proxy, if the IP address you are using is no longer working, it will automatically switch to a new one. Using a static proxy will be less flexible.
