Newbie Google Adsense Question

Hi BHW fam,

Okay so I am quite new to google adsense and I managed to get my account approved a couple weeks ago. These are yesterdays results:


My question is, is there a way I can optimise my adsense ads and make my cpc/rpm higher? Is it completly depending on the content of my website and user locations? About 70% of Users are United states so it is mainly tier 1 traffic. Will blocking some spammy ad networks/ads help? Or should I only focus on the content of my website (it is a movie streaming site).

Your CPC seems to be low for 70% US traffic but at the same time your pageviews are not that high. Things will become more clear once you get more visits. But for now it does look like you're in a low paying niche.

Changing the content niche to something like finance will increase cpc. But will you be able to maintain traffic ?

No unfortunetly not as all traffic is being driven from my social media pages which are in the Cartoon/Movie niche.

CPC seems very low as your traffic is from Tier 1 country.

Do you know what the average cpc from tier 1 countries is?
