Also, i agree with a few of the above posters, without the right keywords, you aren't going to make any money with adsense. If your average cost per click is 5 cents, i would probably look into CPA offers or affiliate programs. It simply isn't profitable enough to waste your precious time chasing measly 5 cent clicks.

You have sites which probably have content on them that is of high interest. That's good, but also realize you talk about very competitive topics. That is where you need to find something very unique to place on your sites to stand out among the rest.
 
I suggest you pick one blog and focus on it. Less is more.

Less is also less (frustration).

I realized what you're saying is true.

I don't have much content on my sites. ( On average 5 articles per site )

I need to focus on blogs I already got going but then again, I know there are more profitable niches then what I'm doing!

I noticed that by writing the last sentence of a post by planting a seed & adding a Adsense Google search bar right under that sentence, makes people want to learn more about that topic you planted in their minds.

I made 7.52$ yesterday with 140 hits on my blog just by adding my adsense search bar!

So what I understand from all this is that I need to focus on adding alooot more rich content, target my audience with widgets or monetizing solutions and I should be fine :)

I understand what you're saying ... and the niches available in the keywords I'm working get very litle hits per month.
 
Making money from websites has been getting tougher for years - that's why I took a year out to look at other things

I'm back - not out of choice, but because everything else is just as tough

Re. what you've been doing - nothing really wrong, but I'd just have the large rectangle and dump the other 2 adsense blocks - highest paying ads appear first - then next lowest, then lowest - so 3 blocks is giving option to click on low paying ads

I had a forex autoblog that paid about $40 a day adsense from 4,000 visitors - so CPC of your sites may be poor - nothing you can do about it now except build some higher paying sites

Adsense team blocked the site because of a youtube video that got auto-posted - so I switched to CPA adverts - income fell to about $30 a day - so adsense was better

I also sold banner space on the site - paid well, but could never keep advertisers long term

I dumped all my sites and walked away in the end

I've gone back to site buiding for clients, but I'll soon start building large-scale web 2.0 CMS portal sites, and large-scale xsite pro static sites for myself as well

I'll never, ever, build another wordpress blog, or static micro-niche site - it's clear you've got to go BIG now to get the Google traffic - exception seems to be blogger blogs, as Google is favoring its own sites

Thanks for the Adblock advice, I didn't know.

I agree in part of what you say but since I followed people's advice on this thread, I improved my stats drastically.

I made 7.52$ yesterday v.s. my usual 25 cents ... on 1 blog just by following what other members here posted.

I'm only more exited now that things are changing.

Once I get the hang of 1 blog, I'll be able to repeat the process.

As for your project of website building project, I wish you all the best ...

Also there are plenty of SEO plugins you can get for your site. I found a few good ones on BHW from users. I'm sure if you search for them it would work.

I already have my plugins and my readers use them.

Because I have low traffic, I'm not converting much, but with time, these litle baby's will produce sales.

I just want to thank everyone for participating in this thread. It helped me so much.

I now make 1$ a day per site ... Still not that much but ...

Time to replicate what I did by x 100 ...

It still represents 3000$ per month. I'm ok with that for now

So thanks again guys.
