Newbie frustrations ...

Hi guys,

I've owned 4 blogs in the last year and I'm not making money!


Topics of my blogs:

Blog #1 : E-marketing site
Blog#2 : Books for kids site
Blog#3 : My official techno music site
Blog#4 : My health site

I really feel like swearing but this forum doesn't allow it.


Here's the strategy I used on my blogs:


My frustration #1 : S-e-o:

I use a Wordpress plug in that works fine called seo pressor that allows me to see my keyword density
( 2% to 5% ), h1 h2 h3 tags, pic with alt tag, underlines bolded italic keywords.

And my head ache is here: micro-niche finder and I was told that you need to make sure the

• (soc) is in the green
• That you need the global search count to be more then 200 broad visitors per month
• Keep the exact phrase count under 15 000
• MOB under 100

These niches don't seem to be available anymore ... even with long tail keywords.

* I know you need to write for readers and not necessarely for search engines.



My frustration #2 : Backlinks

Now I know all about creating back links and commenting other people's blogs.

With that said, I noticed people tend to spam using Mama something ... wich I tried and didn't see much use for it.

The quality of backlinks it creates is poor in my opinion.

So what do you guys suggest for me to get related backlinks without having to work hard on this?



My frustration #3 : Traffic

I'm realizing that if I want to make money with Adsense, I need a really large flow of traffic.

How do you experts do it?

For me to quit my day job, I'd need at last 20 000 visitors that click, per day to make 100$ meaning 2800$ a month.

This means I need approximately a network of 200 000 visitors per day for this to happen!

If I get 10 visitors per blog a day I'm lucky!
My frustration #4 : Affiliates

• What affiliate convert?
• Should I just stick with Adsense or is there something better?
• Should I use ppc or other types of payment method?
• Is combining Amazon with Adsense a good thing?

My frustration #5 : Adsense campain layouts

I use one 336x280 text add that blends with my blogs on the left side of the posts

I use two 250x250 text ads, that blends with my blogs, in the sidebar ( right side of the blog ) seperated by plug-ins or 125x125 banners.

In my opinion, it looks great!



My frustration #6 : Content

• I write articles of 500 words
• I make sure my spelling and syntax is good
• As you can see, I apply myself to add detail to my posts or articles lol
• I make sure I write for readers and not trying to force keywords in my articles.

With that said, I'd like to get your opinions on what it is I'm doing wrong.

It's not normal after 1 year of hard work that I don't make money.

A lot of frustration is floating lolz. Ok All seems to be fine , but ever tried offpage seo or some campaign about promotion?
Go for social media marketing.
Facebook/Twitter (Integrate plugins )
Go for a paid service as related to backlink than doing it by yourself.
Use dragon natural speaking for article writing , will save a lot of your time.
Better to use amazon/clickbank along with adsense. Remember don't ever bet all your assets on one horse.
Go for scyscrappers ads better and big header ad. That need to be showcase.

Lolll, Yes alot of frustration because alot of work and just a few pennies a day ... litterally! Today, I made 19 cents ... Yippie .

Frustration #4

Well, people will tell you both yes and no. I currently have my site running both, Amazon and Adsense.

I have tried running them in all kinds of different ways. So far both makes me the most.

It also depends what kind of web page you are running.

If you are running just a certain "product" for Amazon, then having a Adsense banner, might take away from your sale. The Adsense banner could possibly be showing a ad for the same product.

That mama program is used to comment on Auto approve blogs. Much like SB. DO NOT run that on your site ever.

Blog comments are pretty, hmm crappy. You checking to make sure they are d0follow?

With 10 visits a day I wouldn't worry about any monitization, that's nothing for traffic.

hi ! your activities are good but you have to make a campaign and try following things
back links on high pr sites.
comments on do-follow and high pr blogs.
quality content.

I use an Amazon search box plug-in on the top right of my site intitled: Ex: What book are you looking for? ... It's not identified as a Amazon search box.

And I use text links of selected books I chose for this or that article.

No my Adsense ads & Amazon products differ. I have no issue on that.

Ex: kid books online net

Ok so who should I trust to sell me these kinds of lists or people who do that?

Ya I'm not focusing on monetization right now, I'm trying to build traffic but I seem unsuccessfull.

So if the blog commenting is crappy, what do you suggest I do? ...
I baught a Links tonic scrapebox comment list not too long ago and I got all sorts of non-english url's ... Useless or I just don't get the principle.

I don't know who to trust at this point.

I need references from a webmaster on who to go see!

If it takes you 20,000 clicks to get 100 bucks then you need to read and learn more about keyword research. Your doing it all wrong if your getting less than 1 cent a click on average. There a plenty of guides on how to find good keywords to target if you do a search.

I average 5 cents per click, wich is still, in my opinion very low.

Running 4 blogs at a same time is a big task! if i were you, i would be making money using the only one or two which are easy to handle as i am taking this stuff secondary

You could have 100 blogs and not earn. The first thing you need to do is choose your niche carefully. Build around some high paying keywords, a CB product or even a CPA offer.
Then you need to get the traffic and only then you're ready to make a profit.

When you're doing keyword research, I would recommend logging into your adwords account, load up google keyword tool and go to "Contextual Targeting Tool".

You can't focus on targeting that many keywords on your site at once without spreading yourself thin, so the keywords you do target should be good ones.

The contextual targeting tool gives you a more accurate estimate of how much you will get paid per click. You usually get on average 68% of the keywords CPC, so try to aim for a CPC of at least $1 using that tool.

As for search volume, are you currently able to rank your keywords on page 1? If not, it means the keyword your targeting is still a bit too difficult for you. I would suggest starting with "exact match" (not phrase) and a search volume of 1k-5k for starting out.
