I am a 42 year old guy from Delaware USA.
I was a merchant marine in my early 20's and have been working for the railroad for the last 16 years.
I miss traveling. I can't pack up a railroad in a carryon and work remote. I need a change.
I went to google and looked at my options. My criteria was, Remote, employment or freelancing opportunities and scalable.
The bonus of recurring revenue Is what pushed SEO to the top of my list.
I Found Grumpyseoguy podcast on YouTube 2 weeks ago. I listened to every episode. Which got me thinking about PBN's and Blackhat stuff. So that’s how I got here.
I am getting the suspicion that the popular Whitehat only gurus are holding back the truth on how they effectively do SEO. My guess is that they used Blackhat stuff to build their agencies but don’t want to piss off the search engines when they sell their overpriced courses so they always claim the evils of Blackhat. Just a guess.
I want to get to the bottom of how Seo is actually done. I want to get good at it and I want to make my life a freaking masterpiece.
