hi

I am totally new for reddit i want to know that how does this platform works what people do on reddit why is it famous?

i don't what is reddit karma or reddit upvotes!

Want to explore reddit a bit and maybe if i found it useful i would join the reddit community also for sure

looking forward for responses.

I have a Reddit account that I’ve used for over 2 years, mainly to read news and browse my favorite topics, and occasionally leave a comment here and there.
I only had one link on my profile, and then boom ... one fine day my account got banned for no clear reason. It’s really disappointing! Has anyone had a similar experience? I tried creating another account, but it also got suspended after a short time, and since then I haven’t used Reddit anymore.
 
I see that on this platform people often post articles, ask questions, share links, memes, videos... according to specific niches. And it is famous for having thousands of extremely specialized communities in many fields, so if you find the right subreddit, you can learn or update news very quickly.
 
Reddits basically a place to follow your interests and see what others are saying. You dont need to worry about karma at first just browse, comment, and join conversations that catch your eye.

Such naive questions. Instead of asking here and waiting for explanations, you should go directly to Reddit, create an account, and experience what it's like for yourself.

This a 1000 times. Reddit has a steep learning curve, but if you join just as a normal user with 0 marketing intent, you can become familiar with pretty much everything just in the matter of a few days by being a normal user there.

There's a few other things to keep in mind: Every subreddit is its own community, not only with its own rules, but ways of talking, interests, demographics etc.

I think a lot of people get into trouble just joining Reddit to market their product/service, but then realize they're doing a lot of faux pas a normal user would never make.

Be a real human, a real user. Learn. Then you can learn how to do marketing on Reddit. But don't skip a step.
