Why does it put a number after my fanpage url?

for example if i make a page named Carlovers facebook makes the url http://www.facebook/com/pages/Carlovers/2353263421432

so instead of being able to reach it with just http://www.facebook/com/pages/Carlovers people have to put that big long url there.

Sorry i'm new to facebook fanpages

You have to reach 25 Fans to customize your fan Page name.

This will be a instant ban for those who are caught. It is fine to paste codes and such but linking directly or outing someones page is not ethical and will result in much hassles and usually the owners pages being removed.

What you need to do to get the subdomain name from facebook. You need to get 25 likes of fans within one day that you create the fan page account. Just ask 25 friends to help you like and you able to get the domain name from facebook right away.

Base on my understanding why they put numbers in end of the URL of fan page. Because that numbers symbolize the of code number.
