Does anyone have input, please, on how to avoid payments being made with stolen credit cards, and people using chargeback mechanism once they have received goods?

From my limited experience with PayPal, they tend to refund without question.

Thanks

Using crypto! ... i.e. Bitcoin etc ... Otherwise, you're simply just have to live with it, unfortunately. That's the bitter side of ecommerce. You can always try to 'minimize' it happening by paying for fraud prevention services (not cheap) but, even with that in place, you will still be facing cc fraud situation(S); it just comes with the territory

Speaking of accepting cryptocurrencies, which payment gateway for accepting for an example Bitcoin would you suggest?

Free advertising is definitely not my thing ;) but that can easily be looked up with a quick search, plenty of them there I can assure you. As for me, personally, I'd choose a custom blockchain app

Nikkita have you ever used crypto payments for ecommerce? Seems not. I have crypto payments accepted on my store and only 1% pays with crypto. Useless!

Yes, I have Tomper - Now, only 1% on your end, that's extremely low, especially nowadays.
1) What industry are you in?
2) What incentives do you provide your visitors in order to push them towards using crypto as opposed to regular cc?
These are the 2 main questions you need answers to .... Crypto has been pretty alright for me!

Use Stripe payment gateway
After that, activate Stripe Radar
this will automatically block any payment with a risk score of 75 or above
it only costs $0.02 per transaction to activate this option (You'll get free trial too).
If you want further security you can also activate charge back protection.
Which will cost 0.40% per transaction, this option won't require you to submit any proof for the disputes, Stripe will take care of all chargebacks and disputes from your end.
I hope this helps!

Seems great, maybe I will have a try in the future.
