I have done a bunch of IM stuff but I am new to promoting Amazon.

I built a site and it seems fine - clicks seem to be counted correctly when I test it. So I emailed a group my friends and asked them to please click-thru on the site when they ordered something from Amazon next so I could verify the conversions were working.

A friend of mine ordered something a couple days later and got to Amazon by clicking a "Buy this on Amazon"-type link on my site, but NOT on anything related to what he ordered. Instead he searched for the item (a micro SD card) after going through my Amazon affiliate link.

So as far as I know I should have gotten credit for the sale but I didn't. Here's a screenshot of the orders report in Amazon - I'm thinking my links are screwed up or something because the earnings report from the same date range has $0 (so I won't bother posting a screen shot).

    Thanks in advance...

You should switch to earnings report. At the moment you are looking at orders report. Btw you will get the commission after the item is shipped.

    Cheers
