Newb Question....

Is it possible for a newb with $0 and no type of web coding experience to get into IM with affiliate etc? If possible how long would it take to start seeing at least $1 a day? I've been lurking for so long but I don't know how exactly to jump into the game without web coding experiences.

Honestly, I don't think so...

I've only made 25 bucks in my adsense account so far. I am looking to do some article marketing promoting CB products.

I don't really see how this answered my question... but uh are you a newb to? Do you have web coding experience?

I am a newb with no coding experience. Just thought I would throw that out there.

Umm I've tried starting a blog and applying for adsense but didn't get accepted. Did you have a site or a blog? Was it getting a lot of traffic?

You don't need coding experience at all to start, although it can come in handy.

You can also offer services for some startup money.

I actually bought rights to a cheap 3d tv mini niche site long ago in which I gave up on since at the time my internet got disconnected. The moneys just been sitting in my adsense account with no way of taking it out until it reaches $100.

It is possible. I have a friend who started a hobby blog at blogspot. For the first 3 years, he made no money out of it but gained a loyal following. Now he gets upwards of 30k hits / day. Adsense alone he gets $1200 / month.

It did take a lot of time and if you want to gain an advantage, you need to start reading on very very basic HTML.

It is possible with no knowledge of the languages you mentioned, but it is NOT possible without having desire, will and perservance.

If you don't know all the Html, just go with wordpress or blogger, see some qucik start up tutorials.

Above all that, you need to apply your brain.

One thing you could do (it's just an idea, you don't have to take it ) is go to Flippa and see if you can snatch up a site with recurring income without having to spend too much on buying it. I haven't tried this idea personally though.

Thanks for all the insights. I know I have the drive to become successful, but Its kind of overwhelming at first for newbs especially without any programming language knowledge. Since IM is huge and there are countless ways of doing it.

where there's a will, there is a way. if you are willing to read this forum till your eyes bleed and continue to read some more then the oppertunities are limitless. not everyone is willing to do this and they expect to get spoonfed. they bitch and complain when they dont get what they want.

95% of IM'ers fail because they stop '10 feet from gold'. money is only a small factor in ones success. you found a huge gold mine in BHW now all you gotta do is start digging for valuable information and education.

I started in the Adult webcam niche with absolutely NIL experience, money or coding expertise...Just found a few affiliate sites and started promoting them via social networks and MSN. Social networks are a great way to promote whatever you are selling, from gadgets to dating, because it is FREE (<- the best kind of advertising )

Once I had made a few hundred dollars doing that, I took the plunge and bought a website, which is by far the best method, a website is less work in the long run as I don't need to actively promote it to leads as much.

In short YES, it is 100% possible to start with nothing and learn as you go along. Read through the forums for some good methods, and don't be afraid to ask the community for help if you need it. You do need the will and drive to accomplish your ambitions though, as others have already said.

i think you can, just use wordpress to launch a website, it's easy to use and like me, i dont have any skill in coding but i can create a perfect website for affiliate marketing. And btw, think you should try and you will see how it works.

I dont have any knowledge at all on Im nor HTML or coding. I only can install plain wp. what a dumb-a$$-me. LOL. But i always try that i dont know till i know how it works. So far i didnt maknig any money yet, but i know how things works. And im going deep into SEO things. Thats me for know nothing in the world im goin thru.

So stop questioning and start learning. and the best part, you dont have to pay to learn from this marvelous forum. You can find everything you want. Except for free meal of course.

Thanks. Well I think I found a couple things I'm going to try and I'll see how that goes.

Here's a simple plan to get you started...

Week 1 - Learn html. Get a free copy of Kompozer (a WYSISYG web page editor), and take the rest of the week learning how to design a simple webpage. Lots of videos online that show how to do this using this free software...

Week 2- Learn about niche research... Use this forum and start finding out how to identify niches that will actually pay you for you new skills. Remember, there is a whole other world out ther outside of the make money niche...

Week 3- Study the basics of keyword research. Learn how to do simple but effective KW research. Again, a lot of info in this forum shows you the right way to do this, along with some free tools as well.

Week 4- Discover the basics of SEO... Both on page and off. Again, this forum is chock full of killer info on SEO and best of all it is free. There are also a lot of good SEO tools in the Downloads section to help with this once again.

At the end of a month, if you have actually put in the effort, you will know how to design and upload a great looking but simple to design webpage/website, in a niche where there are actually paying customers looking for your products.

You'll also know to get in front of those consumers by using effective keyword research and using those keywords in your SEO efforts for more website traffic.

By simply learning the basics of these four skills, you will actually start seeing your efforts pay off.

Does it take time? Sure... But not as long as my six years spent in college learning topics that have never paid me a dime.

And if you actually apply yourself every week, you will get a stronger handle on the basics of getting online than 90% of the people that never try to learn a thing (and make no money).

We were all in the same boat at one time... nobody crawls out of the womb knowing how to do this stuff.

But sometimes newbs get overwhelmed and don't know where to start.

Four weeks... Learn one or two new skills each week... And you can not only use them to build your own business... But you can also help other poeple with the same problems and get paid for it as well.

Hint: 42% of all small businesses do not have a website... Think you might be able to help them out with your new skills? And make a little more than $1 a day?

Everybody has to start somewhere... Hopefully, I've given you an action plan...

bro, just master one thing at a time and keep focused.

Focus on the keyword aka niche research, make sure its buyer keyword instead of research keyword... you'll get more results for you efforts this way. Find a couple of adsense guides and go through them(again mastering each step at time) before jumping on the next shiny object. Wordpress is very simple and you can learn very easily. Use youtube on installation etc and use a very simple theme.
