Hi,
Apologies if this is a stupid question, or inappropriate as my 2nd post. I've done a lot of reading on this forum and elsewhere lately on IM. My understanding is that the basics of high SERPs are inbound links, content, and good on-site SEO. I'd really rather get some feedback on my suggestion [which seems too simple] than perform the experiment and likely end up wasting a lot of time and money.

Lets say I own an established site, indexed on Google, with a PR of 1 or above, selling your average package, ebook, or similar. Could I not just use the tools scrapebox, xrumer and senuke x to continuously blast my keywords, both short and long tail to as many places as possible, and then perhaps go and purchase bulk articles with a reasonable keyword density for my short and long tail keyphrases and bulk the site up further with this material?

What am I missing here? What are the potential pitfalls? TIA!

Blasting a page with different anchor is not the key.

Having several pages optimized for several KW is the key ;).

Or your long tailed KW are very closed to the root one.

Otherwise your strategy is good. Include a pyramidal strategy and a link diversity.

I would say,go in following order-

Get articles
Use scrapebox
Use SEnuke x
use xrumer (if still needed)

I think SB n se nuke will do the job for you, considering the fact that you have some good content, and remember not to over do anything....just stay under the radar..build links slowly..

High PR links + good content + good onpage + patience Should be enough.

Thank you. I appreciate the feedback! I'll take the dive next week when I have a chance, and I'll update here with progress as a brand new IMer. Thanks again :)

+1 for not coming and asking "How do I make money?" and that you actually did your research before asking for a little bit of help, and that your actually taking the help you got and you are now applying it.

Could I ask please - would you suggest that each particular page (article, blog entry, etc) be optimized for a single KW and blasted for that? Can I use more than one keyphrase for a page if they are similar, i.e. 'web development ireland', and 'web programming ireland' where the page in question has a 1-2% keyphrase density for both?
