Newb Proxy Guidance for yellowpages scraping utility

I have a script that scrapes yellowpages for business contact information. I have a very short list of proxies hard coded in one of the scripts and the script runs very very slowly. I will not use this script very often. I may go months without using it. But, when I need to scrape a list of contacts, I need it to perform faster than it is today. I will likely grab < 1000 contacts each time I run it.

I have a couple questions:

1. What type of proxy servers do you recommend (public/private)?
2. How many proxy servers do I need? 10/20/100 ?
3. What provider do you recommend?

I do not mind paying for good reliable proxies.

1. virgin dedicated private proxies with 100% UpTime
2. I do not know exactly the YellowPages behavior about blocking ips, you have to do a little research

How many proxy servers do I need? 10/20/100 ? - 50 should be enough for your job
What provider do you recommend? there are couple good dealers in BHW .Most of them are good.
