I have read several posts about this topic. I have actually already invested almost $80 with scam dropship lists that ran into dead ends. Not asking for a handout but more of a guide thank you for your time.

Start with repu drop shipping supplier such as chinabuye. Build a list of customers through sign up, and newsletter subscription then send them daily, weey or monthly updates.

A head start is to use ads or affiliate to generate lead or sale.

SEO for ecommerce is needed but can be built in long run. Use ads and affiliate to to test your products first so you can generate sales and reinvest into your website
 
Thanks alot I have filled out my tax applications so that I can buy from the wholesaler directly. Does this sound like I am on the right track for getting started?

what do you mean by boutique manufacturers. Maybe an example would help me understand better.
 
has anyone went through the tax steps and what you do after getting your tax numbers? If so I would really like a couple tips what you do when you get your tax id's. Thank You for all your help.

you need a tax id and a reseller cert. look into and get it, otherwise you'll never be able to hook up with a real manufacturer.
 
Research google with "drophship" and the item you want to sell. You should never have to pay for a list, or to join a real dropshipper.
 
Well it's all about searching on google and trying to find suppliers with reviews from reliable sources.
