New Youtube Monetization Policies?

So I bought this youtube channel a few months ago from a seller here on BHW and it got demonetized 1 month ago for no reason (I did not even touch the channel). I thought it was a mistake so I waited a reapplied a few days ago and I just received a mail telling me that the youtube channel was not approved for the YPP and that the "channel does not comply with the YouTube monetization policies". No more info.
BUT
I saw something new in the "learn more" option :

Our reviewers check content that best represents your channel against our policies. Since our reviewers can’t check every video, they may focus on your channel’s:

  • Main theme
  • Most viewed videos
  • Newest videos
  • Biggest proportion of watch time
  • Video metadata (including titles, thumbnails, and descriptions)
The above are just examples of content our reviewers may assess. Note that our reviewers can, and may check other parts of your channel to see whether it fully meets our policies.


Does that mean that the old ways of sending watchtime views to 1-4 1h+ videos is now obsolete or do you still manage to monetize your channels using that technique?

Not sure, I bought a monetized channel a month ago and it's completely fine.
 
That wouldn't impact your current monetization. That is talking about when they approve you for monetization. For sure you had to be auto-detected by a bot and not a person. People are still getting approved doing this method, but I don't know if they have 100% success rate, if the bots detect it later etc. You can find many YouTube channels that are monetized that are obviously botted so I don't think a human reviews all of them.
 
If you buy 4k hours your channel will probably got banned.
Because 4k hours will come from only 1 source and youtube will catch you.
 
The problem is that the current channel was monetized for months.... multiple videos, original content, filmed videos with real people, with voice, etc... and yet it does not pass the monetization phase for some reason...

I have been buying 4k watch hours for clients and they all get approve always, the recent one i did was 3 weeks ago and i have one order which will complete soon.

yes, it was there since ages...
and definately it has to be with the video conetent, and that is why i always video real people, always first hand video, not outsourced, atleast till the monetization.

and i have sold many channels, no channel got demonetized afterwards.

DID you private the videos, etc???
 
It should be a problem with the content. Check the videos and delete the ones that violate youtube policies, then re-apply
 
I am not an expert but as I started my own youtube channels by buying monetized channel so I have a little experience in that I want to share...

after buying a channel you should not touch any security option till 3-4 days but on day 1 simply login & browse the account & channel that you bought & on day 2-3 upload around 10-15 videos on your channel & private the other videos that are already there & on day 4 change your channel name & other security info & this way you should be fine & still your channel be monetized.

if you leave a monetized channel for too long without uploading any content there is a very high chance that it will get demonetized.

at least that's what happened with me :)

Ye, u are right about it. But i dont think you should upload too many videos or private/unlist videos on day 2,3.
A channel after accept monetized doesnt gain any view, sub or even drop is really suspicious.
Recently, I always tell my buyer to work as soon as possbile. Some organic views, subs everyday will make your channel safe.

You are right, channel should not seems to be stopped or it will get demonetized.
 
I should mention that I'm fairly experienced in Youtube and that It's not the first channel that I bought. Every videos are just Vietnamese people talking about stuff, nothing that can go against the youtube policies, and the channel was monetized for months with absolutely no issue, no videos are private or unlisted, all public. Basically, there is absolutely no basis for youtube to not monetize this channel and yet, it did not pass the check for the second time and they don't give any precise reason why, just that it doesn't follow the youtube policies. Seriously I have no idea...

& yes a couple of my channels I bought got demonetized because I didn't know before but now I follow the stated steps every time I buy a channel & everything works well.

ik mean how long you don't post new content, till hte channel got demonetized.

That technique is working but may be there have some thing else. Like check your videos had broken the copyright law from you tube studio left side content.

Main Theme means change the channel category if possible or edit.
Check the most viewed videos had broken any law.
Newest video check also.
Check every videos have title or metadata.
