New Writer

Hello! Not sure how I would label myself. I used to post content on Associated Content, which turned into Yahoo Voices. This was closed down, and I am missing my ability to write my useful articles, as well as editorials. I am looking to learn what I can from this site, but I am also looking for a place where I can write without having to submit writing samples and applications. Looking to write and bring attention to things that I feel are important and that people need to know about and be aware of. Any suggestions would be helpful. In the meantime, I will explore this interesting site and learn all I can!

Welcome bud. A couple thoughts. If you just wanna write (i.e., for free), I'm sure you'll find no shortage of places to submit your content. If you want to get paid, you're certainly going to have to prove to people you're worth it. And if the payment you want is a link, the quality of site you get on is going to vary directly with the quality of writing you're offering.

I appreciate all thoughts and comments, good or bad. When Yahoo Voices closed down, they pulled everything off. For now, I would be content to just write, giving me more experience. Even though I got paid for articles and earned money thru page views, I had a brief hiatus due to personal issues going on. Obviously, I did not earn that much, even though I still had people reading my articles. When I was ready to start writing again, I found out that everything was being shut down. My goal is to eventually either have my own blog where people can read thought provoking material.
