I am playing with the functions of Wordpress as I would like to add a blog to my site.

Is there a program that can just add to your blog daily to keep the content fresh?

    Thanks for your help

Are you talking about RSS or scraping content from other sites?

If you want to update your blog using RSS feeds, you can use any of the automatic blog posting software like PowerRSS, RSS2Blog ... or use plugins like FeedWordPress.

If you want to however control what gets in your blog posts, you can have text articles which could be automatically uploaded to your blog on a regular basis using a software like wparticleuploader.

I've used wordpress with the wp-o-matic plugin and pointed it to the populate.net rss feeds. You can select articles there based on topics or keywords and they supply the full articles which makes your blog more then just the typical rss blog.

There is a writeup with links at http://populate.net/website-publishers.html

I have about 6 blogs I'm testing that are pulling automated content.

You can also create future posts in Wordpress that will dripfeed your posts as you direct it to. If you do future posts, make sure you are using the latest version of Wordpress (WP 2.5) or you will need to add a plugin to make sure WP doesn't ping your future posts until they are made live.
