Hi all, I know very little about website creation and all the crazy things one needs to do to keep it showing up in the top rankings of google. So with that said, go gentle I'm just getting educated.
I am looking for a website for my local business that will provide construction services to my local metropolitan area in NC, USA. I need to know all the things that someone should be doing when building the website so that it can be the best it can for google to find and list it first. I've done some ppc stuff and know baklinks are important as well. but what else should the developer be doing so when the SEO begins it can rank as high as possible? What should an SEO company do to keep it ranking as high as possible? What registrations or platforms should i have registered with that may help?
