New website ranks better than me

Hello,
I have a big problem. My blog is 6 months old and I'm on the 16th position.
I have 13 seo optimitzed articles and I have done some scrapebox blasts. It's a TL-Domain.
And now I see a website on the 6th position. It has a TL-Domain, too.
But the scary thing is, the website has only one seo optimized article (the landing page) and no backlinks to the whole website.
The last update of him was one week ago and now he is on the 6th place?
How is this possible?

I know how to write seo optimized articles...

I believe Google said that they want sites with no SEO to be able to rank well. I'm guessing it is for a short period of time, but who knows for sure.

Give it some time. It doesn't matter how you start, but how you finish. Six months from now, he might drop from the radar. New sites often temporarily show up and rank quite well - only to drop much lower when things sift out a bit.
