New website, Ranking, Content ?

Hello All,

I've designed my new website first time in my life for myself although I'm a web developer since 4+ years, now I need BHW gurus to guide me how to proceed with SEO and comes in ranking.

I designed a website for ecommerce purpose where people purchase services, I have reviewed the keywords competition and its very high and seems tough to come in ranking for next 1 year, although I read about SENuk, UD, MS not sure do I need to choose myself and start with SEO or need to get other skilled person! My website content is not much rich 1 of content writer is hired and she will write the content soon after my approval but I want to know where to go?
What to do?
How to increase backlinks, PR, Content SEO, keywords etc.

I would be really thankful to BHW gurus if they can help me and guide me step by step things so I can start with single step for success in google ranking for long run.

These days you don't just turn on software and rank.

You will most likely ruin your site, you should hire someone for SEO or spend some time reading the internet about SEO.
 
bhw have everything you need
seo is not easy you need tons of trails and error to make it work
if you hav time dig in or hire someone to do job for you

Thanks for the suggestions do you think the guys on fiverr will works or some indian people offering $50 or $150 per month SEO packages with 6 months guaranteed results etc? Should I need to believe them?

I don't know the SEO guys who are perfect and work perfectly I am still reading posts at:

For content you could hire someone besides all the activities you can take care yourself
 
Don't spend a penny on SEO before you know more about it. This will avoid any unnecessary expenditure, or worse, the high possibility of getting scammed.

You can find everything you need on BlackHatWorld. I suggest you take a week or two and go through all the SEO pages of BHW. Copy all the information that looks important, interesting, or is somewhat confusing, into your Google docs. Then summarize all the text. This way you'll learn it and you'll have a document that you can always return to.
 
I think you should have done your keyword research FIRST!! Trying to compete in a busy niche is going uphill. Do keyword research or get someone else to do it and find a low competition niche. Then build your site and use a link building service to help it get ranked on Googles 1st page. Find keywords, build website, get ranked.
 
You can start Social media marketing, you can start creating ads on Facebook, Twitter, etc.
When you started earning then, take services of search engine optimization of a mature company to get a huge profit and good ranking.
 
Yes. Social media helps to increase traffic. Use unique content and build backlinks then share it on social networks
 
I cannot go with Social media cause its SMM site, I think content and backlinks will help me :)
 
Hire someone that knows how to not only write content, but find out what content is getting shared the most and is engaging.
 
First thing about SEO is you need to read and research a lot( start with BHW, maybe). Then spend time on analyzing what you've learnt. You can only start when you're confident of the plan of action-- from start to finish.
 
You can start promoting your site by social media marketing.
It'll help you to get traffic easily in a short time. Then, start creating blogs, articles and put backlinks with your site's URL. It'll increase traffic easily.
 
You will need good keywords with buying intent that you will able to rank, optimised content and backlinks to get free traffic from SE. It will take time. Meanwhile you can try paid traffic building options - Adwords/Facebook etc.
