new website ranked in just a few days?

Hello everyone, first of all, I'm not a native English speaker. I own a brand new website just a few days old. After submitting to Google Search Console and requesting indexing for the homepage, the next day I received about 100 impressions and 2 clicks. Is this good for my website, and could being ranked so quickly lead to penalties?

P/S: This is a completely new domain registered this year

Things like these are normal nothing to be worried or too happy about. You are doing decently and I would advise that you keep publishing content. Here is on of the sites I am working on ATM (GSC screenshot).

It's kind of comparable with yours. This domain was also registered this year only.

Getting 100 impressions and 2 clicks the day after submitting your new website to Google Search Console is a positive start. It indicates that Google is indexing your site quickly. Being ranked quickly generally doesn't lead to penalties, as long as your content follows Google's guidelines and isn't spammy. This is normal, specially for Non-English language sites. and yes if you get too much traffic in start you will be penalized/sandboxed, best way to avoid this is add content slowly and add backlinks along

My site is English, and the 'sandbox' seems to be something I'm quite worried about

If your English site is sandboxed then don't add any new content, add proper Internal links to important words and keywords on your old articles, give some external links to authority sites on important words/keywords.

Create some backlinks, do social media sharing, it will start getting better in about 1 to 3 weeks. Be patient, only once your impressions start increasing again, then add new content.

Good start! Good Impressions and low clicks (normal for new site). Quick indexing is positive, no penalty. Focus on relevant content to improve ranking and CTR. Use Search Console to track progress. Good luck!

New sites can be ranked well. Publish good quality user engaging contents and build backlinks whenever you can.

I don't know how, but the clicks and impressions surged dramatically.

Its a Positive sign for a New site, keep Posted a Good Quality and Niche relevant content and Build a High Quality Backlinks .
