New website, best start?

Hi,

I have just started a new amazon affiliate website completely new to this, I am able to write content at a high level but am wondering whether the purchase of an SEO package from a platform like this would be viable or do more harm then good? My website is extremely new < 1 week old so has 0 backlinks and a score of 0 for the DA. Just wondering if purchasing SEO packages would be a good place to start to get that initial boost or if I should go for the more traditional approach of contacting bloggers etc.

I agree that it's a bit too early, but if you absolutely must do it then start off slowly and with social signals and foundation links only (foundation links are profiles on high authority sites like microsoft, adobe, isssuu, soundcloud, disqus, author, etc... there are literally 100s of these sites, so I won't name them all cause you can find lists of them on BHW or in google. And yeah, most of these sites are nofollow, so you won't see any increase in your domain's authority / DR or in your google rankings from these links.. especially if they're not indexed. But, they're links that you can get for free and are safe to point to your new site... assuming that you don't go crazy with them, obviously... just build 10-20 of them per week and it should be fine)... And like I said, social signals are Ok too, especially if you can get them from aged and active accounts...

Additionally, you could also start building other types of backlinks, such as guest posts, PBNs and niche edits (aka link insertions), but you'll have to take it even slower with these... 4-5 per month would be a good start, just make sure they're quality links otherwise you might tank your site if you go for cheap "$1 PBN links" and the alike

When you say guest posts thats meaning I write the content and provide my link within it, and they post it right? If that is the case do you know the best places to find people selling guest posts on PBN's on BHW? Finally I will for sure sign up to a bunch of profile post like you noted! Was also thinking about signing up on a couple of niche relevant forums.

yeah, forum marketing is still as good as ever. Google haven't banned forums yet...

best places on BHW?? You probably mean best sellers... Regardless, I won't name anyone cause I don't want to be held responsible if something goes wrong, but there are definitely good people in here, you just have to do your due diligence

I would recommend to start after 60 days, Till than you can do Social linking and mostly importantly content is your best friend try to setup google search console and link it with sitemaps so bots will ping for indexing.
