Hi guys im in the process of making my new Website (first website i have ever made)
and i have no idea how i can get my new pages setup

You're going to need to learn to use Google for stuff like this. Your question lacks detail that would be pertinent to providing an answer like are you using a CMS? HTML/CSS? Free template? You might be able to contact your host as well.

im using HTML getting content for my website down and once i have that i will be tuning all the looks from there i tried using a example using a random name for a website but BHW disclaimer thingy said i wasnt a member for long enough

also i think it may be because i dont know my way around hostgator

Dude, clearly you have no idea what you are doing. Stop now and and keep learning or pay someone to build you the website.

you can go for any third party who will help you in designing your web page... if you are interested in programming you should develop a strong knowledge.... you can opt for wordpress or blogs if you go for online service providers...

You may Google for learning basic codes. Or you may use WordPress as it is the easiest one. Or you may hire an affordable web designer like me. PM if you want some more help.

Go on youtube, type in how to build a website. That should give you all you need.

Choices:
> Learn coding from http://www.w3schools.com/
> Get wordpress to build your site
> Use dreamweaver for easier coding

Depends, if you want a website then use wordpress maybe or blogger. They are easy to handle!
