New Viral Videos

videos on YouTube's front page usually don't get there until a day or two after they're uploaded. the first set of viewers, the one's that made the video popular in the 1st or 2nd day, how the Hell did they find the video? is it just regular sharing thru social media? let's say you don't have a profile on any social media site, how do you find out about the video early on?

Good question. Some of those videos are found on the charts. Or youtube staff might spot one of those and frontpage it. You throw in a bunch of views, it shows up on the charts, and if it has viral potential, the youtube staff might frontpage it. Some people say the videos that go on the frontpage isn't handpicked. But i seriously think it is.
