new usage limit in chatgpt

Has anyone noticed that ChatGPT seems use a new, hidden usage limit for about the past two weeks, causing accounts to hit their weekly limits much faster? A ChatGPT Plus account reached its weekly usage limit after only one day.
I searched about it and apparently it has happened, and people are also discussing it on Reddit. What do you think about this? whats the alternative for Code check and researchs?

Haven't noticed it myself, though I suppose I don't use it heavily enough to say whether that's because of the way I use it. If there is a change to the limits, I suspect it'll affect heavier users a lot more noticeably.
As for alternatives, it probably depends on what you're using it for. If it's for coding, research, media, or what have you. The top ones would be Claude or Gemini for research. Maybe for coding too, that might also be the case.
