New TweetAdder4 Update and Subscription Model

TweetAdder did a big update yesterday: http://tweetadder.com/version-4-1-140603-june-3-2014/ and buried in there is the confirmation that they've switched to a monthly subscription model!

As of now, it's $19/$29/$69 MONTHY for 1/3/10 Profiles! They had warned me a year ago that this was planned and said if I upgraded to an Unlimited License that it would be grandfathered in....do you think they'll still honor that?

Has anyone heard from TweetAdder to know if they are going to now start charging their long time users these crazy high new rates?

I have 7 unlimited licenses that are currently unused, that I will sell. HMU if anyone is interested.
 
I heard back from them confirming that they will honor that and I'm good for life.

Anyone tried out the new features in the latest version? My favorite so far is that I can resume scrapes of someones followers after it maxes at 4999,
 
Ahghr. Can't bring myself to invest any more money or time in twitter. It's just too hard to monetise IMHO.

Yes all unlimited licenses are grandfathered in and I have some for sale. Much cheaper than what they are charging now and only a one time charge. Kinda crazy the way they are charging now IMO
 
I just noticed the change yesterday.I was going to buy more slots for my accounts. :(
 
Pretty pricey but I'm sure its worth it if you have a few big accounts
 
What happens to the ones who have already brought their software? I have the one with 3 profiles.
 
I've noticed you can add images to your tweets, manually :( no bulk upload. Plus after update I am having glitch - accounts are staked at "finished downloading", doesn't go into idle mode :( only after double clicking each account :( what a waist of time
 
The new rates are high and tweetadder 4 has been awful to use if you have big twitter account(s).
 
Dont buy the monthly subscription, when you can buy an unlimited license from me for a couple months worth of the subscription. DM for info

TweetBoss is a one time fee.. $47 for up to 3 accounts and $97 for unlimited. plus you get the features that TweetAdder no longer has
 
Coincidentally I got an email this morning billing me for 1 month. Didn't realise my trial had ended so quickly. They really know how to get my money.
