New, trying to learn the rules

Good morning-

I have a facebook and instagram that my buddy and I started. We're in a pretty niche market. We have a podcast a website that posts articles. We're up to 300 likes on facebook (we just started, but hey, you remember that time right?!)

We're not looking to dominate the market, but more-of just get our name out there w/ likes and follows.
We've looked up and down this forum and there's a ton of good info, but now we're overwhelmed lol.

We put $40 into Facebook and IG ads to target others in our niche, but we're not sure where else to start. Should we try one of the many follower and liker apps listed here to start showing up with people who use a similar hashtag?

any help would greatly be appreciated!

You can try follow/unfollow method to get followers to your IG page. You could get ~10k followers in 2 months realistically. What to do with those followers is up to you :)

10k followers in 2 months? Isn't that a bit ambitious?

If you're doing 170 followers a day I want to talk to you.
 
I did manual follow/unfollow, and got around 20k, but the engagement after some months dropped (it was the IG algorithm transition)... so I'm now "cleaning" blocking/unblocking my follower trying to guess and get rid of the ghost follower, so who never interacts.
I can suggest this method off course to get some numbers first, and then aiming to some powerlikes and shoutouts from other related niche pages

question? how many likes does your ig post get when you advertise them with ads?

thats quite a lot ..... for that you have to unfollow /follow a lot and probably get ghostbanned
