New to Youtube

Hi peeps. I have been making websites and using adsense for a while now, I can also use premier pro etc etc. I have some content on youtube but want to start publishing lots of content. The problem I have is I have no idea how to make money from it. If I upload content lets say from Game of thrones, it says copywrited so cannot moneterize. Fair enough, but others do it?? Really could do with some basic advise

1 ) no1 is uploading game of thrones on youtube ... at least not for long
2 ) if you already making money from your website do the same and produce own content for youtube and if you find something that people wanna watch
then stick with it...

How come I see adds on things like Britains got talent, or xfactor auditions. I see they are being moneterized.
