Has anyone been to an ungagged conference before? Is it good for networking? Can anyone tell me a little about it?

I'm contemplating it. Not sure on the practicality though and who will be there, could be hundreds or could just be 5 awkward joes sat around

That's what I'm thinking...It's not that much with the discount and flight I just don't want to waste time off from school if it's going to be a handful of people not really interested in networking at all.

This will be my third year attending the conference. It is a great experience because not only do you get to listen to speakers who discuss topics that are relevant and useful, but they cover not only SEO but SEM, affiliate marketing, mobile optimization, and much much more!
Also, you have the luxury to meet the entire BHW staff which is always a pleasure. You can even schedule a face to face with Damien the owner who is quite the entrepreneur. Usually each year there is a exhibition room where everyone can get a drink and talk business and more.
I have a meeting with Damien on Monday but should be free the rest of the convention in case anyone wants to meet up!
