New to Shopify/dropshipping! Help please

Can someone please help me understand how shipping works? I am just starting to create my shopify store and researching wholesalers. How does shipping work? If my wholesalers are located in different places, how do I figure out how to charge for shipping?

A good way that I have used on Shopify stores when using different wholesalers is the weight based pricing. You can just weight your items privately within the admin, and then charge rates on checkout based on these 'weights'.

If you're selling loads of items it's obviously pointless / unachievable.

Countering part of the shipping into the price, and also various rates of shipping works too but depends what you're selling really.

Two slightly 'hacky' ways, but they work personally from experience.
