New to SEO, Where do I go from here?

Ok well i'm some what new to IM but i'm really new to SEO and still not 100% sure how it works.

Here is a the deal, I just set up a new website and im trying to rank it for 2 mean keywords.

Watch (name of the TV show)
Watch (name of the TV show) online

From what I have read search engines look for your domain age, your on page keywords and the number of backlinks you have. Then rank you accordingly.

I have done my on page SEO pretty well and have an EMD. My domain is only 3 days old and there is nothing I know of that can help with that. So what do I do from here? Just blast it with backlinks?

I have also read that to many backlinks to quickly can lead to delisting from google. So in a nut shell im asking what would you do to get this ranked well, fast?

You can use search option to get a lot of info about your questions. Just try it now.

Make sure your on-page SEO is solid.

Start doing some backlinks and search around the forum a bit on the different ways to do them.

Uh, relating to this thread. Is your website indexed by Google already? Check (site:-----.com)
If it is, then you must constantly provide information (posts) on your page for a continuous time. Don't stop posting, if you can. The information must be readable and unique.

To tell you the truth i'm getting sick of reading articles and posts, A lot of which seem to be contradicting one and other.

I just want an straight answer as to how I should rank this site.

I'm happy with my on page SEO.

I have been looking at a few fiverr gigs to help with backlinks, Any that you would recommend?

Sorry toughtrasher but again im new to this, What do you mean by JV?

Yes my site was listed on google yesterday. Well it is a watch online site for a TV show so I can only add to it once a week when a new episode comes out. But every thing on it is readable and unique.

JV is working together using our unique abilities to create something. For example, I'm good with SEO. You have a website. We can JV and make that website great. Just hit me a PM.

Also, since you get a week for each episode, I suggest performing extreme SEO on it so you make sure it ranks well in it's keywords. Then when the week is over, you just start over with a new episode and rank that one, while sorta ranking the other one. You understand?

And how's your project going? The episodes and all that?

you should use google to search answer of your all question. Google will help more and more, you have no need to go anywhere just search in google your question and you will get a lots of information.

You shoud Create backlinks , write articles and submit it to article directory including a backlink.
