Hi guys,

I have one website which is great for pinterest traffic.

Would like to ask if 44 followers and 144 following is good or bad?

I am only repinning and follow people in my niche.

How many followers should i have to get some traffic from my pins? I didnt start post my website links yet.

Thanks for answers

I'm interested too by this topic, i will follow it.
I don't know much pinterest but if it's like other social networks, i'm not sure that repin and follow are enough to get huge traffic... only my opinion

I haven't had huge success with Pinterest, but I might not have the ideal niche to generate traffic from there. If all of your followers are organic, then I think you should see some increased traffic.

Any experienced in this field who can answer my question please?

Leave Follow Unfollow Tactics Just look for Big Group Boards and try to get added in it
and you can easily bring high traffic to your website.
Everyone currently on pinterest is on recipe niche only hoping you would be in the same too

I dont use bots on Pinterest. Too easy to lose an account. Just put the head down, drink coffee and grind it out.

In the last half hour I have done (among other things I am doing) 125 pins, gotten 65 repins from it and four new followers so far.

How Many Accounts are you using?
I am with 1 account only not directing to any website just to mylikes & it pays me off well

Also great work 125 pins in half an hour :)

your follow/following ratio is ok, but mass following is not a great way to gain followers.
you should have at least 500 followers before you start getting traffic, but the more the better, obviously.

Thanks for answers guys,

Well my niche is not recipes but it is something really similar and great for women pinterest traffic.

Any suggestions how to get into niche specific boards?

i just started pinterest for a site.

1. created account
2. start following people in my niche.
3. i barely do it once in day for 5-10 minutes.
4. After a Week have 200 followers and some repins.
5. traffic i didn't see any from pinterest, just few users from some pins.

will also follow this thread, hope someone with experience will drop few points for pinterest newbies.

THIS... is what you have to do, if you want real success. It takes a while. For a long time it seems ain't shit happening. Then suddenly, shit starts happening. You have to infiltrate the culture there (which isn't that fucking hard), but takes some time. The best advice I could give is watch what other popular people are doing, pay attention to every detail. Do that, but in your own way.

44 followers isn't bad for just starting out. Do what other people with a lot of followers do. I've learned a lot in the past two weeks. Just pay attention. It's a simple place, there's only so much one can do there, very simple actions. You have to do them all, en masse, to gain any traction. Pinterest is very much a game of who's got the most time to waste, lol. But I've read that once you reach a certain point, the followers start to grow on their own, and from what I've learned, I believe this to be true. You just have to put in the work. I am spending at least an hour a day pinning at this point. I don't mean just pinning your site links, I mean re-pinning shit.

Hey everyone, im too on pinterest for the last week or so...going to subscribe for this thread because i want to learn more about this and hopelly start to drive mass visitors to blogs. Ive been reading on the pinterest methods and there is much to think of. Now im focusing on getting content for the blogs, copied content. And "grinding" the account, repinning all i can from the top pinners and seeing how their boards look like, etc...

Just wanted to chip in and hope we all can win some money through pinterest. have an nice day :)

Listen, forget about niche specific when it comes to followers. Follow anyone you find, especially of they have a lot of people following them. Your pins are going to show to all of your followers, but if your follower pins it it will be shown to all their followers. These "followers followers" are not likely to be in your niche anyway.

What matters is getting eyes on the pin. The more people who see it, the better chance it gets clicked on or shared.

Follow everyone who comments, likes, or repins your stuff (comment on the ones with alot of followers first helps), many times they will follow back. I only have 2900 or so followers (all of whom followed me of their own accord, usually after I followed them) but some of them have over 15 thousand followers, and a few even more. I don't care if their followers are in my niche or not, any time they repin I get massive exposure. The repin brings more people into my boards to see the other stuff.

Remember Pinterest when you travel the Internet, and pin neat crap you find.

If you make your Pinterest account about one thing, in my opinion it seems commercial. It obvious its a business. If you have boards about all kinds of interesting stuff you look like a person, and you can throw all kinds of interesting money hooks out there.

For the record, I have never tried a single focus Pinterest account, just my personal one, so take that in consideration.

Pinterest is best used organically without bots or other auto posting programs. It is niche based and difficult to get filtered good content unless you pin yourself.
