New to google (familiar with yandex), need help

Hi, bros!
I've just started my challenge with seo in google. I've worked for a long time with russian segment: it was damn easy - start a site, hire a content writer, buy backlinks = profit?

I've started a new site a week ago. Im currently have some number of articles optimized for very low competition kw (about 100-500 searches/mo, 3-5 words kw), but I'm currently on 3-6 pages of serp. What am I doing wrong?

Well, a month? My sites in runet ranked 1-3 in a week or two for such keywords.

You have a lot to learn man. With Google, you are going to require a lot of patience. If the competition is really low, buy a small backlink package. It will get you to the first page. Google is not going to put you on the front page just because you have good keyword density. But a $5.99 bookmarking package . I think that is the cheapest backlink package here.

From what you are saying, I think that will be enough to bring you to page 1 as you are already on page 3, just for having created the content. If that is not enough, do some more backlinking to get it to a position where you want it to be.
