New to Forums- and have questions

Hi folks!

I'm kind of new to forums and I'm interested in learning about how to hide my internet presence (send emails and browse w/o being visible to anyone who might be looking. Also would preferably like to be able to download torrents invisibly).

How would you recomend I go about finding that information? How can I search threads for the info and programs to do that?
I'm not sure of what the different components of hiding your computer on the net are so I'm not sure where to start reading.

Any recomendations?

I'm currently researching IP blocking stuff...

How do you know if hma will not cache any of your info and sell it?
I saw quite a few reviews saying things like "HMA keeps logs" and that they are willing to hand out your info to outside parties? How do you find an anonymous proxy host that you can trust not to sell off your info and track your internet browsing?
How do you get around them having to hand out info on court orders and such (not like I'm going to have to deal with that but I'm still curious)
