New to everything pretty much

I mean I knew how things worked for the most part but I never dug into any of it. My side income has come from Beermoney type ventures. Mostly passive with the exception of MTurk, even though I haven't done that in over a year.

I don't recall what brought me here. Probably hearing someones idea and using Google. I have read a lot of stuff here and I admit I still have to Google some of the abreviations. The last time I was interested in making websites was probably the late 90s and the "paid to surf" ideas. A lot has changed since then but one thing remains constant, attract traffic and have them click on your stuff. Methods have changed alot though. There wasn't really social networking or large online retailers back then. No Craigslist but you did have the BBS.

Anyway, I've been mulling over different ideas. Some methods posted here are really helpful. I have taken some steps. I have an almost empty shopify store but slowly working on it. Signed up for a few affiliates. Ironing out some ways to generate traffic. Making some alt social accounts to build up. I know it will take some time and motivation and probably a little $. I'll be nervous when I get my first sale hoping I didn't mess up somewhere.

Im finding so many ideas to try. I need to stick to one thing because I find myself signing up for stuff then forgetting about it. I think it will be my Shopify dropshipper.
