New to eBay

Hey everyone! Hope everyone is have a great day!

Today I'm looking for a fresh start on eBay. A different way for me to make money and maybe do this for the long run! As someone new to selling on eBay, what recommendations do y'all have to gain feedbacks? Personally for me I'm having a lot of trouble at this. Also, is it good for me to instantly start doing drop shipping? Or should i wait till i get a good amount of feedbacks then i should do it?

Feedbacks, don't even worry about it. They'll come in when you start selling, trying to game that system is just going to end badly since you're already planning to drop ship which eBay frowns upon. No one seems to honestly care if your feedback is zero because they know they'll be able to get a refund either way from eBay.

However I would avoid eBay all together if you really want to "do this for the long run!". Using eBay isn't realistic if you run the numbers... Grab a product you plan to drop ship, figure out the profit margin... are you going to make ~30%? because at 30% you're likely to barely break even using eBay. The fees are, last I checked, 10% and something like 2.9% for PayPal but this comes off *revenue* not profit, so unless your profit margins are more than 30% or so you simply aren't going to make money, and if you do you'll be paying eBay more than you pay yourself.

If you're serious about starting a business, start a business... the whole "eBay business" is marketing bullshit. You end up working for eBay, you get them more customers, you pay them for the privilege, you have to follow their rules... How is that your business? because that sounds a whole lot like having a boss tell you what to do all the time. Make your own website, market it, and drop ship the products.

The answer would vary greatly depending on whether you want a churn and burn account or a long term legit account.

Amazon to eBay dropshipping can work if you're smart. If you can automate the process like I have done, it's worth the small profits on eBay. I am to the point where I only have to list items. Everything else (ordering from amazon, tracking prices, etc) is all done automatically. I basically just list items and handle customer service.

I have been looking for a good dropshipper so I can get this process automated. I feel like there is so many, just looking for one that does handbags and small jewelry items which a profit potential of 30% or more. Considering ebay take nearly 20% of fees (listing, fvf, paypal)

Buy a job lot of cheap items, maybe headphones and sell extremely cheap. I doubt you'll make money as the profit margins are suppressed but you'll get quick feedback.
