Hello

I've decided to try my luck on ebay. I have been researching alot over past few weeks, and think I have a general idea. Ive read alot of helpful posts on this forum, and was hoping you guys could answer some Qs. Hopefully this thread can also help others.
First off, I'm not sure what a good niche is. I had a few ideas:
- replica nintendo ds games
- replica sport jerseys
- sunglasses? (prob fake :D)
Is selling replicas/counterfeits a big risk? I keep reading about people avoiding this. If this is the case, what is a good legit product to sell?
Also, what products have you had success with? If you have any other tips, it would be greatly appreciated.

i heard that ebay takes a huge chunk out of your sales. would you recommend another site? gahh so many questions. thanks

Replicas are ok if you know what you are doing, there is a risk on ebay but not as much as if you tried to open a store selling repilcas, Mostly what happens is your acccount gets banned and your paypal funds frozen(if you get caught.) But if your replicas are good and you are careful with how many you sell per account you should be fine. heres a forum post that might help you with some questions and help you decide if you want to try on ebay or maybe start your own site to sell them.

why not trying replica watches and include some gift wraps for those who want to buy gifts but wont spend to much because they are not to close with the guy who`s birthday is coming, include both male and female models

You can find a good wholesaler for I9s (fake Iphones) on alibaba. They are very easy to sell.

I can help you out with that, as far as I know, things like R4 and sunglasses yields pretty much low profit. As far as I know, if you're careful and your items are high grade if they catch you then ebay will suspend you and paypal will freeze your money and refund all of it. You have to be very careful since if ONE buyer complains about fake, paypal will limit your account without second thought first and ask you for credentials and scans of your passport and such. However if you're still interested, PM me for advice.

Do you want to sell a product that is a popular niche on eBay?
You have to simply spend couple of hours for finding some techniques. The most popular two tools are eBay pulse and eBay?s advanced search.

EBay Pulse will underline the most searched for topics in any given category. And eBay's Advanced Search will allow you to search through completed listings for seeing how fine those searched for items are really selling.

Hope this advice will help you and will stop you from looking around.

Best advice I can give you is to find a niche that hasn't already got a lot counterfeits floating around. There are plenty of small-yet-big-money niches of eBay products.

I would recommend if you are just starting to increase your feedback to at least 10 you can do this by buying ebooks for a penny or items that are cheap what this will do is give you the option of having the buy know button so you don't have to wait till the auction ends for you to sell you items.
Regards
Suave

selling replicas on eB is always a risk unless u have a powerseller account.

even so, if many ppl report u, then u will still get warnings b4 being suspended.

i suggest u mix them up :)
