New to Drop Shipping

Dear all,

I am relatively new to IM and am interested in dropshipping.

I understand that I need to find a reliable distributor. I heard that salehoo is good?

And then I need to build my website and an ebay storefront and do marketing.

Perhaps a master of dropshipping would care to chime in and offer some words of wisdom to a young entrepreneur.

Also, what is the common arrangement with the dropshipper........will I forward them a list of orders? Will buyer pay me and I pay them.

Is there a way to automate this?

Lots of questions but I feel like I have come to the right place.
 
First I suggest you read the forums and do some research before making any type of investment into this. You should be prepared and knowledgeable then you can invest the big bucks. There's a search bar feel free to use it :D
 
I have been reading some of the posts and have a general idea of the concept.

Is there a way to do dropshipping without making a large initial investment? Wholesale takes some capital I am sure, but if I drop ship, can I just pay the distributor as the orders come in and then distributor sends my products for me?

first of all, do you have any idea what do you want to sell? do you think you're anyhow special? there are many, many, maany people already dropshipping, especially ebay and phone stuff
 
SaleHoo is about a list of distributors / dropshipping companies. You need to test test test.... them. If they can be trusted, you can make more orders or do more advertising.
 
Im new to it as well, I like the idea and I know that a lot of people are doing it. I would just like to get some Ideas to test the company besides using small investments.
