New to domains

I have always used a new domain. For my next project, I found a domain name that could be branded for my niche. It is from 1998 with no backlinks according to expired domains.net. Would this benefit me and SEO? Or should I just make a new domain. I am very particular about the name because I need the ability to brand it.

Check the back links at ahrefs.com. If there are no back links,than it will not get power.You can build your own back links also if it is good for branding.

The age of the domain certainly works in your favor and if you can brand it too? It sounds like a winner.

No backlinks isn't bad news, in fact that's better than having spammy backlinks.

Benefits for SEO is there are no bad backlinks to deal with, and now you can backlink the hell out of it using new methods that could be considered "Google safe". Please don't ask me to explain Google safe though because that seems to change a lot.

Not even with the age of domain?

Are you Ready Spend some $$$ to Build Some Quality Back links to that Site means you can choose that...Becoz when you try to success in SEO, Back links are the main factor to do.

This age is a good factor. But backlinks are much more important. With a vintage domain with no backlinks, at least you save yourself from a few months of sandbox.
