New to Domain Parking Need Some Enlightenment

Hello, BHW Although I've read about domain parking, I'm still unsure of how profitable it is for some people. How can one pick which domains to park? Is it preferable to purchase new or expired domains? Which parking lots are suitable for beginners? I only need some guidance to get me started in the correct way; I'm not looking for a full course. Any advice or firsthand knowledge would be much valued. In advance, thank you.

Domain parking can be profitable with expired domains that get type-in traffic. Start with platforms like Bodis or ParkingCrew and test a few high quality, aged domains.

I’ve actually tried something similar and here’s my experience.
I bought a couple of expired domains for around $200 and $300 each, they had decent metrics, and most were from businesses (mainly restaurants) that seemed to have closed during COVID.

About four years later, I sold them for $1,000 and $2,200 respectively. In my experience, this type of thing usually takes time. Sometimes the buyers are the original owners wanting their domain back, and other times are SEO's building a PBN or have another project in mind.

It can work, but it’s not always as quick or glamorous as it may sound.
I purchased through GoDaddy and sold on Afternic. Just list them for sale, no need to keep them parked. You can even add some content; what matters is making sure potential buyers know it’s available.

Domain parking can be profitable with type-in traffic or strong keywords; expired domains often outperform new ones. Beginners can try Sedo, Bodis, or ParkingCrew to see what works best
