hi where is the best place to buy coin other than Coinbase which I have but just looking to maybe get some others which arnt yet on Coinbase..

Thanks for that I’m from the uk to if that makes a difference at all
 
Have a friend from UK he deposited GBP to coinbase and transfer to Binance.com and bitfinex.com as well (he told me about those actually) so should be fine.

yes Binance.com is quite good
 
You can use Coinbase but i prefer localbitcoins to get Bitcoins as the rate is cheaper and no huge fees. You can then use Bittrex and/or Binance to buy Alt coins.

Also recommend you start off very small like $300 and then can increase the amount as you learn.
 
Gdax to buy big three coins (owned by coinbase)
Use LIMIT BUY to avoid transaction fees
Transfer coins to binance or bittrex to trade for alt coins
Reverse process to cash out
 
Another that didnt get mentioned yet is poloniex. Just transfer btc there and trade without verification.
