New to Cpa, would appreciate your experience.

I've been reading a bit about CPA and I'm going to give it a go. I've signed up to a network and seen a product I'm going to try and promote. I have a few questions I'd love answered. I'm not wanting spoonfed, I'm going to take action tonight no matter what, but would appreciate any replies.


* I have a website, but it's unrelated to the product, shall I use a sudbdomain and just put the product name in the subdomain, or would it be better to use a new site just dedicated to that product, so the customer only see's the product name? I have no spare income just now, so the site dedicated to the product would have to be a blogger, wordpress etc.

* The product I plan to promote, has in my opinion, a decent looking landing page. Should I try and copy this best I can, even though I'm terrible with graphics and such, or would a Static page with Headings done in different colours and bold writing with a call to action be sufficient?

* Should I make the site a multipage site with a few reviews, each with my affiliate link at the bottom, or do static pages with calls to action rate better in your experience ?

* If I do decide to go with a free website, do I then use adwords to find a niche keyword that relates to my product, then try and rank my review site or static page in google? This one I'm really wondering about, as I'm not sure if it's worth the time and effort trying to get a page ranked, as it appers from my reading, a lot of CPA products have a short lifespan.

* These are probably stupid questions, but can you just stick your affiliate link in a subdomain and redirect it to the product page? if you can what are the pros and cons of doing this?

Yeah, i thought they weren't bad for someone new at this, wasn't begging for traffic or anything, however.

Went ahead and started a blogger, couldn't get the keyword I was after, thought I'd found a smallish niche, where I could hopefully scoop some traffic. So I just made the key phrase longer and kept the original three word phrase in the blogger address.

I joined CPA infinity, I let them know before hand I was new, I think that's the best policy. They also advertised 24/7 live chat for support, been in support for an hour now though, no advisors about. Met someone in support who said there email submits are low. He reads BHW, asked to pick his brains on a couple of questions, but he either left or is AFK.

Requested to join Ascend Media last night, got accepted. Have been assigned an afilliate manager. I Have picked a couple of offers I'm going to try and promote using strategies I have learned here on BHW. Going to email the AM in a couple of secs, I imagine she may know some tips and tricks, and keep me on the right path.

Well that's about that then, If anyone reading this thinks I'm on the right or wrong path, I'd be happy to hear it, happy to hear anything, lol.

I didn't mind reading all the question but just to answer your main theme:

If you have a website with good traffic... just use some mind manipulation to make them fill in your CPA offer or w/e....

eg.: Get a CPA offer about a new Ipod product (get your ipod for free), send it to all your FB & twitter friends saying you really did win it -> thats a good amount of money for starters.

Nah, my website is a no go. I went with something I knew about, pity I didn't know about keyword research at the time too. So whilst it's on page one at position six, the searches for that particular keyword are tiny, I barely see any traffic, but I'm fine with that. I'll probably add one unique article to it till the end of the year, I think that'll rank it first no probs.

I started a blogger, will put a free Ipod offer on, with a couple of other CPA offers and see how they do. Going to promote it with forum posting, twitter, possibly facebook, article marketing and maybe a couple of youtube videos.

This is my first foray into CPA, well any kind of website monetization really. I'm just getting my feet wet, even if this blogs a disaster, I'll learn loads I imagine. While it seems daunting I see success stories here of people who took action. So I decided to stop dilly dallying and take action too.

As I'm new I posted this thread hoping to stay on the beaten path and keep of the moors, with help from other more knowledgeable members.

Well this is what I've mustered so far Rahaman.

* Take Action!

* Find Niche

* Create website/blogger/landing page, either or based on Niche

* Find CPA or clickbank products relevant to Niche

* Write unique articles for said Niche on Website/blogger

* Possibly use PLR articles

* Try and create a list through opt-in (I haven't managed to set up email yet)

* Promote Website/blog through Backlinks, article marketing, youtube etc..

* Social Media Twitter, Facebook etc.

* Forget useless backlinks, aim for high PR ones such as EDU.

* Don't spam your backlinks unnecessarly, let google work it's magic/witchcraft

Automated tools? Hell knows! I can't afford them. If you can, Scrapebox, xrummer, VPS, AMR, Market Samurai (free trial available) appear to come up time and time again.

Where I'm at. Free blog, based on micro Niche keyword I'm trying to exploit. Three articles, and some ads. Going to try and promote it now while adding more content.


The best route to success from what I can see is Keyword research. pity I'm effing useless at it.
