Just does not obsess too much about your initial set-up. Choose a topic that you were knowledgeable about or that you like acrually post a few good articles then start optimizeing ur SEO gradually.

plz does not starts with randomly posting on your blog in order to fill the calendar. Identify 10 to 15 questions that are often being asked in ur area of expertise and write some interesting articles about them.
