I'm going to be starting a few blogs in the upcoming days/weeks and have been trying to go through all of the different hosting options. Some offer SEO and advertising assistance while some offer marketing coupons and other variations. I was just wondering what BHW users recommend as I need a solution that will work for me as my blogs grow in size and traffic. I'm currently leaning towards Wordpress blogs with Bluehost as the host. I still need to purchase domains as well. Any and all help is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Forget Bluehost or any hostgator company if you want to grow, they cap your visitors, I left justhost years ago for that reason

I have been using Bluehost for over 6 years and never ever had a problem yet, neither technically nor with customer support.

I personally believe that hosting is like cell phone services now days. They are all provide the same services with different packaging so it comes down to your preference. I have used a number of different hosting plans from different companies and I will admit that some are more newbie friendly while others cater more to those with some programming skills so this does make a difference. I personally use Godaddy because a search on Google easily locates coupons to get hosting and a domain name for as little as $14 for the entire year. It's also fairly simple to get up and running if all you care about is getting a blog or website up quickly.

I'd say that most of the add-ons provided by hosting/domain registrars when you buy from them are useless.
Except AdWords/Yelp/Bing coupons with ad credit.

Enable SSL encryption on your blogs from the get-go. It's free now thanks to Lets Encrypt and it's so much easier when you enable it at the start.
