Need to promote a link to my product although don't have any affiliate programs setup. I'm not a promoter although I would be the one giving commission. Where should I start?

So you have somebody like an influencer who will be promoting the product?

If so, you should think of a product that fits the promoter.

And then choose a campaign.

Was thinking of promoting via comission base, so for each sign up the promoter achieves, they will receive a commission from each sale on that account. How they create the traffic doesn't matter to me.

Look at somwhere like jvzoo, and there are alternatives that have platforms, where people have marketplaces to sing up and see your affiliate offer, and promote it for you with all the payments being handled for mimimum fee by the platform, i think thats what you want. There are about 2-4 really good ones.

Ill probably just join the ronomics affiliate program and learn to promote my own product plus others. Could help earnings to earn commissions off other products. Yet to see if profitable

Nice to see you starting to think in terms of long-term affiliate structure!

If you’re handling the commissions directly, consider setting up basic tracking with something like Tapfiliate or Post Affiliate Pro — both are solid without overcomplicating it.

Start small, keep the payout clear, and give promoters ready-made assets (banners, copy, UTM links). That way, even beginner affiliates can start driving consistent sign‑ups.

And yeah — combining your own product promo with joining a few networks like Ronomics is a smart move. You’ll learn both sides of the affiliate game fast.

You need to pick a network that suits your niche. There are many networks like Clickbank, JVZoo, Rakuten, Awin, CJ, etc.

For starting out, yeah, networks like JVZoo or Clickbank are solid for setting up your own affiliate program without much hassle. Once you're rolling, branching into niche ones like ronomics could boost things. I've dabbled with True-Meds for pharma stuff – it's not flashy, but the tracking is reliable and helps if you're mixing your product with others.

hey, good move doing affiliate marketing. starting out you’ll want to pick a niche you understand, find affiliate offers with good payout + conversion, build a simple site or funnel and then drive traffic (content, social, ads). don’t try too many things at once or you’ll spread yourself thin. pick one, test, optimise.
