New Threads update!

Hey everyone.

Threads has pushed its new update 2 days ago. Am i the only one that gets hella posts silently removed without any warning? Also it feels like stuff is not performing as good as before. Does anyone know what they did for this update so we can all build around it?

You're not the only one, I've been experiencing difficulties as well. Likely stricter spam/dupe filters and heavier throttling on links and rapid posting. No official notes from Meta yet

Im testing everything right now i can. Seems like duplication detection went way stronger. AI stuff still works fine tho. Also im pretty sure they changed the way captions get rated. Cause almost all Onlyfans people post hella different content. Or at least the spammy stuff with the spoiler function is gone for me at least

Yeah that lines up with what I’m seeing too. Dupe detection feels way stricter even across similar captions, not just media. AI content still slipping through because it’s more “unique” by default. Spoiler/engagement bait posts seem devalued hard. My guess is they’re weighting original phrasing + real replies more than formats they’ve seen spammed to death.

Haven't noticed because I don't really post regularly there but will keep an eye out and ask around the people who's trying to make use of the platform.

I mean yes makes sense. Although im pretty sure the duplication detection is still only gonna be for 1 to 1 content in HEAVY amounts. Ive just noticed that asset raiting is more strong then before. Bad assets get demolished while good ones grow very good. Im especially gonna look out for captions tho since thats the most obvious thing ive noticed so far.

yeah past few days something changed, my reach got chopped in half across the fleet

finally seems we have to start spoofing now - til now spoofing has been a myth, least for me. i've recycled the same exact winning posts across accs and still went viral 100K+ quite easily. now that's dead, posts barely crack 1-2k views. with a new batch of accs been doing basic spoofing and while some improvement, posts are still stuck in this ~5k view jail even though they have high EG

they blow up fast within the 1st 1-2 hrs as usual, but after that they taper off fast and after 24hrs dont continue up like before, like they cap off around 5k :/
