New Thing in Google Places?

I was researching a few businesses and while doing the research I noticed adwords with an address and phone listed in the map with a blue pin. In GP as we all know its a red pin but I have never come across a blue one.

They were also visibly pinned above all of the other red markers and numbered 1-6.

I havent seen this before, is this a paid inclusion into adwords or apart of it naturally?

It's called Adwords extensions. It's the main way Google are encouraging people to spend money with them for Places.

The good thing about it is that if someone sees your ad and rings rather than clicking on it, its cost you nothing!!
