Two weeks ago and every date prior, zero service fee charged on credit card purchases. Suddenly, as of the last while, everything I swiped came with an additional 3.5% charge. What utter bullshit - anyone else notice extra currency conversion fees lately or am I the only slow-poke who caught on late?

I don't use Payoneer anymore, but it's news for me too, since there was no fee for purchases, when i used Payoneer last.

If you're logged into your account, you can check all the fees associated with your card under 'Help/Pricing &Fees/Fees for using a Payoneer card'. I just did this and to my surprise, i found this:
"For transactions made in a currency other than the card currency, or in a country other than the country of issuance of the card, Payoneer charges a fee of up to 3.5% per transaction"

Payoneer is becoming a nusiance by the day. They charge me $10 for every withdrawal below $500 and another sum for deposits.

I'm looking for a way to dump them.

Times must be tough for them.

I haven't logged into my account for over a year now. Now i just did and there are new fees apparently. I received the card via Fiverr, now there's a $3 fee for receiving funds from there, which was free before. They just introduced a $1 fee for receiving less than $100, if it's not local currency. And this 3.5% fee for purchases brought up by the OP...They're screwing their non-US users pretty much.

Since they went IPO, they’re adding more fees and screwing over previous long term customers..
As long as people keep paying the fees, they will continue to add them non-stop.
The best answer? Stop using their service and fightback by not doing business with them.

I noticed this too. This is why they revise their pricing too often. No longer a relative % fee but now an absolute fee cur which is utter fee cut for low earners. Great for large volume businesses.
