New Suggestion for BHW Forum.

Hi!

As we all know alot of posts contains replies like "thanks" "ok got it" "great" bla bla.. I would definately see that someone add a minium limit of letters in those replies..

Let say you need a minimum of 20-25 letters in your reply to let it count as 1 post.. Those who replies below 20 letters will not be counted, OR beeing rejected for posting that.

How does that sound?

yeah... i agree with ericsson, there are many people on bhw who want to get more post by doing short.. very short comments...

Err. Yesterday i saw a guy making the above post in almost 15 threads in 10 minutes. Basically they just want to increase their post count.

People are building post counts with that kind of thing to get to Jr. VIP etc. the easiest way they know how. Why not just make the Jr. VIP 100 "quality" post review a little tougher...saves mods from having to be everywhere all the time...they ca njust be at the "bottleneck" doorway to Jr. VIP and up.

Maybe a moderation for first x or xx replies would decrease amount of spam by new members too ...

yeah the downloads section seems to be the worst for this but yes it is very annoying to have to go through pages of "nice post" and "thanks for this" posts. This comes around once in a while and it sometimes takes a post like this to get the new members to understand its not welcome in BHW.

The Download section is defenitly the worst for this, why not simply use the 'thanks' or 'rep' button instead? Or instead of saying "thanks", why not contribute a bit and giving another mirror for the download (just an example). People are just easily building up post counts like this, so they can get "singature" etc. Well these kinds of posts help to be honset, they get the 'quality" posts or contributions on the top of the page, which helps other find it right away, but it would be good as erricson suggested, that these posts do not count, but are published.

Well the good thing is that they are now only accepting almost unique kinds of services, not just ordinary "backlink xrumer service etc", but good services etc, which is a really good thing idd, I really want to see an Admin's comment on this.
